The problem with the modern dropshipping stack
Most operators we talk to run on the same patchwork: a supplier marketplace tab, a TikTok trends tool in another tab, a video editor for ads, a spreadsheet for margin tracking, and a Shopify dashboard for fulfillment. Information moves from one tool to the next on copy-paste energy and screenshots.
That stack works at low volume. It collapses the moment a single trend pops and you need to ship 20 product pages in a weekend.
OmniDrop is our answer: a unified operating layer purpose-built for the way teams actually work today.
What ships in v1
We're launching with five connected surfaces. Each one is useful on its own, but the value compounds when you wire them together.
1. Supplier discovery with cross-platform pricing
Search a product across AliExpress, Banggood, Sellvia, and our growing network of vetted suppliers in a single query. Every result includes:
- Real shipping cost to the destination market
- Order count and rating so you can spot fakes
- Source media (image and video, when available) — preserved through import
- Suggested resale price using a configurable margin curve
No more flipping between supplier tabs to compare three near-identical SKUs.
2. TikTok trends with momentum scoring
Our trend pipeline ingests TikTok's public hashtag and Creative Center data hourly, deduplicates near-identical trends, and ranks them by a momentum score that weights:
- Post velocity (acceleration, not just volume)
- Cross-region spread
- Creator diversity
- Time decay so 3-day-old breakouts don't crowd out today's spike
When you click into a trend, you get the supplier match alongside it — you can go from "this is trending in skincare" to "here's the supplier shipping it for $4.20" in two clicks.
3. AI ad creation that respects your brand
Two tools live under the trends surface:
- Remix into ad — turns any trend into platform-native ad creative (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) with hook variants you can A/B
- Clone viral video — produces a faithful copy in your store's voice, scored against the original
Both flows use prompt caching to keep costs down — most generations land under 10 cents.
4. Marketing analytics with channel attribution
Connect your store and we surface:
- Revenue trends with weekly/daily granularity and growth %
- Channel performance broken down by source (organic, paid, referral, direct)
- Top products by revenue and by margin — they're rarely the same list
These charts feed the same insights system that suggests next actions in the dashboard.
5. Team workspace + production-grade API
Multi-seat workspaces with role-based access (owner / admin / editor / viewer), workspace-scoped invitations, and a self-service API key panel for integrations. Every key has scopes, expiry, last-used metadata, and a one-time secret reveal — the patterns you'd expect from a security-first SaaS.
What changes for you
Three things we've seen consistently in beta:
- Time from "this is trending" to "this is in my store" drops from hours to minutes. Operators who used the trend → supplier → import → publish pipeline shipped 3.4× more SKUs per week than the control group.
- Margin discipline improves automatically. Because the resale suggestion is right next to the supplier price at every step, products that don't hit the margin floor never make it to the catalog.
- You stop missing media. Our import pipeline preserves video URLs end-to-end, so the product page actually shows the same hero asset that hooked the buyer in the discovery feed.
What's next
We're heads-down on three areas for the next two cycles:
- Channels — direct one-click publish to TikTok Shop, Meta Ads, and the major listing platforms
- Inventory automation — auto-pause SKUs when supplier stock drops below threshold
- Margin guardrails — workspace-level rules that block imports below a configurable floor
